‘Arm & Cleat’ or ‘Hook Latch’ Cabinet Latches
KidCo Swivel-Lock Cabinet Latches (KidCo 12 Count Swivel Cabinet and Drawer Lock) KidCo Swivel-Latches are GooGooProof’s “go to” product for storage latching projects. KidCo latches were designed using high quality materials and thoughtful engineering. The end of the attachment arms have ridges to help grip the cleat. The cleats have matching ridges creating a solid connection when they come together. Both the cleats and the arm attachment points have a curved design so even if the installation was not perfectly aligned the latch arm still catches on the cleat. The design is far ahead of all competitors and allows for installation on nearly any storage unit with drawers or doors. They can be swiveled out of action by simply twisting them in either direction.

KidCo Under Counter-Top Swivel Lock, (4 piece) Model #S341 is the same latch as Model #S333 and #S341 but with a longer arm. The cleats and the latch face where the screws are installed are identical in all models. (KidCo 4 Piece Under Counter Swivel Lock). It’s only available in a 4 pack. This product should be purchased alongside the KidCo 12 count Swivel Cabinet and Drawer Lock. Most likely you’ll need them to efficiently install cabinet latches on the top drawers directly under the countertop of a kitchen or bathroom. They can be returned to Amazon if you don’t need them. Better to have them on hand when you start your project. The KidCo website has this item listed a few web pages away from the regular model – S333. I don’t know why they make it so hard to find. Buy Buy Baby carries Model S333-12, the regular latches, in a 12 pack at the brick-and-mortar store. They do not carry the model with the longer arms, Model #S341
KidCo Spring Action Lock Model #S337 Cabinet Latches
The base of these latches are a bit larger than the KidCo Swivel Latches. They have a spring activated push down action that includes a lock out system so they can be disengaged. The goal of all of these cabinet latches is to keep the door from opening far enough to keep babies out but still open far enough to allow an adult’s finger to activate the latch. Occasionally I run into a cabinet with a design that won’t work with the Swivel latches. KidCo Model #S337 is designed to fall right in between the long and short Swivel Latches in length and may be what you need to complete your project. (KidCO Spring Action Lock, 4 Count

(Vmaisi Child Proof Cupboard & Drawer Latches) VMaisi Brand Magnetic Cabinet Latches are well designed, really nice to install and priced competitively. There are many brands of this magnetic style of cabinet latches on Amazon and other online retailers. Many have only an adhesive attachment method. These give you an option to use the adhesive application or screws or both. Having options is great. Vmaisi includes an installation tool that makes the process very simple. They are hands down the best designed magnetic cabinet latches.
